The India Art Summit 2009 takes place on 19-22 August, this year in its second edition with 55 galleries from around the world. Thavibu Gallery is pleased to take part in this year's art fair. Indian art is making an impact worldwide, and Indian collectors are international and cosmopolitan in their outlook, so I am confident Thai, Vietnamese and Burmese art will be a success with the Indian audience.
We will showcase works by Jirapat Tatsanasomboon (Thai), Trinh Tuan (Vietnamese), and Aung Kyaw Htet (Burmese). In addition. the video Goldfish by Nyein Chan Su (Burmese) has been selected to be screened in the Summit's video lounge.
