The Other Fair

After the great success of the first edition - visited by 13,000 people and 320 journalists - The Others returns to Turin, from 9 to 11 November 2012, in the spectacular location of the former prisons, Le Nuove, located in the heart of the city.

The Others is an innovative platform dedicated to the emerging contemporary art scene. Its aim is to promote and introduce to the general public artistic projects and realties that are still young and little known.

The Others are a group of galleries that started their activity after January 1, 2009 and comprises also - regardless of their opening date - non-profit centres, associations and foundations, collectives of associated artists, artists-run spaces, publishing projects, art awards, artists residencies, schools and art academies.

In order to facilitate and help exhibitors of The Others, we arranged for them a very accessible price offer.

Opening hours are from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am. A performing area, set in the beautiful theatre of the prison, will host meetings, presentations, publications, performances, video screenings, live music and - with its bars and street food - Le Nuove is set to be the beating heart of Turin's contemporary arts weekend.
