VAN HORN, originally being an exhibition-space invented by the artist Daniela Steinfeld, started it's programm with an exhibition of the underground-cartoonist Robert Crumb, followed by the blackboard-drawings of Rudolf Steiner and the first german solo-show of Nicole Eisenman.
Thereupon the gallery was founded in Düsseldorf. The gallery mixes particular historical with contemporary positions. During the exhibitions thematically related events take place.
In Düsseldorf the gallery presents solely very precisely selected solo-exhibitions of international artists. At artfairs the VAN HORN artists show collaboratively designed exhibitions of their works.
