SELLING EXHIBITION AT THREE LOCATIONS near the «Basilica of Our Lady». As art dealers and art brokerage situated in the centre of Maastricht, it would be odd to go on vacation during TEFAF! On the contrary, our customers consigned so many first-class pieces for that week that we had to temporarily rent two other premises in our cobbled street. One of them is a huge and cosy warehouse at the St. Pieterstraat 52, next to Restaurant «Rilette». The fans of the Post-War period will be surprised about the high quality that is on offer. There is emphasis on work by Jan Roëde and Jan van Heel, both now icons of the New Hague School. The name says it all, a Hague phenomenon not to be mixed up with an certain Amsterdam group called CoBrA. The illustruous abstract painter, Willem Hussem belongs to the New Hague School too. Collectors should hurry, because these high-quality pieces are fresh to the market and the prices are more than fair!
